Not so grim

Remember earlier this year – the unpronouncable (and unspellable) Icelandic volcano grounded all UK flights. People, especially in the south east, looked to the skies and saw clear blue, unsullied by vapour trails from planes, and took photos of the rare sight above them.

Well, on a clear day here in Derbyshire, it’s like that anyway – ash or no ash. Today was a glorious clear day, perhaps not the warmest, but this is definitely a view worth enjoying. Who says it’s grim up North?!
