Hypnotist of Ladies

There’s a man in Hay-on-Wye who can persuade people to sit motionless in a state somewhere between relaxation and nervousness for a full five minutes or so. Stranger still is the fact that people even hand over money for the privilege. Sadly it’s not just for ladies, as I too have been immortalised in marker pen, or at least a passable likeness of me has.

Robin

Today was spent over the Welsh border in Hay on Wye. In the afternoon I took a break from the bookshops to walk along the river. Signs advised me if I was lucky I might spot kingfishers or otters, but I was pleased enough to find this guy who posed perfectly for my photo as I finally got the robin shot I’ve wanted all winter!
